Terms & Conditions
Clear rules for buyers, sellers and other users of AllNaijaMarket.
1. Platform and acceptance
AllNaijaMarket connects people with Nigerian markets, Market Shops, Independent Shops, Virtual Shops, products and services. By creating an account or using features requiring acceptance, you agree to these Terms and linked policies.
2. Accounts and registration
Users must provide accurate information and protect account access. Buyers may register manually or with Google where available. A Google buyer may use the verified Google identity without a mandatory phone number or local password.
Every new seller must complete the required seller details and create at least one shop during registration. Google-authenticated sellers must still complete required seller/shop details. Seller referral information and marketing consent remain optional.
3. Shop types, business offering and categories
Market Shop: inside a listed physical market. Independent Shop: a physical location outside a listed market. Virtual Shop: primarily online. Sellers must choose truthfully.
Each shop also selects a business offering mode: Products Only, Services Only, or Products & Services. An unverified shop may change this mode from Shop Settings. Once a shop is verified, the business offering is locked and may only be changed through an approved Customer Care/Admin request. Changing mode does not delete saved products or services.
Shops and service listings must use the appropriate categories for discovery. Where an approved βOtherβ service category is used, the provider must accurately state the service being offered.
4. Seller duties and verification
- Keep shop, product/service and business information reasonably accurate.
- Do not misrepresent identity, location, market membership, qualifications, licences or goods/services.
- Comply with applicable laws and honour representations to buyers.
Verification is a platform trust measure based on the review completed at the time; it is not a guarantee of future conduct, quality or transaction outcome.
For delicate, regulated or professional services, AllNaijaMarket may require a CAC/business document, professional licence, qualification/certification, identity evidence and business-address evidence before the relevant professional service is presented as credential-verified. An already verified shop does not automatically prove every later professional qualification.
5. Payments, rewards and referrals
Supported platform payments use third-party payment providers. Refund/cancellation eligibility follows the purchased service and Refund Policy. Under the current seller referral programme, an eligible referral may earn β¦250 internal platform credit after the referred seller completes the first qualifying payment. Promotional credits are non-cash and not withdrawable.
6. Promotions and advertising
Paid promotion and advertising improve visibility but do not guarantee sales. Ads are subject to the Advertisement Policy and moderation. Prohibited, harmful, deceptive, discriminatory, pornographic, political or social-issue advertising may be rejected or terminated; cancellation/refund treatment follows the applicable advertising/refund rules.
7. Communication and content
Users may communicate through supported platform chat and other contact methods made available by shops. Sellers are responsible for shop pages, products/services and permitted feeds. Unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, deceptive or harmful content is prohibited.
8. Suspension and prohibited conduct
Fraud, impersonation, illegal goods/services, spam, harassment, unauthorized access, security interference, misleading listings or misuse of platform systems can lead to warnings, restrictions, suspension, termination or content removal.
9. Transactions, official workflows and disputes
Applicable product-delivery transactions must use the ANM Delivery Card workflow, and formal service requests, quotation requests and appointment requests must use the ANM Service Request Card workflow where those features apply.
Deliberately bypassing an applicable official workflow is prohibited. If parties choose to continue outside the required workflow, the workflow-specific records, controlled access, status trail and protections do not apply, and AllNaijaMarket is not responsible for losses, disputes, failed delivery/service, payments, damage or other issues arising from that off-workflow transaction to the extent permitted by law.
AllNaijaMarket may still receive complaints, enforce platform rules, preserve relevant records, investigate fraud or abuse and assist lawful investigations. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Account deletion and records
Users may request account deletion through the available account/support process. Security checks and lawful retention may apply to records needed for legal compliance, fraud prevention, payments, disputes or enforcement.
11. Changes, liability and contact
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. We may update the Terms as the platform or law changes. Contact: [email protected] Β· Contact Us.
12. ANM Delivery Card System
The ANM Delivery Card System is a specific protected-transaction feature governed by the Delivery Card System Policy. A generated card is an immutable, reusable delivery-address credential owned by a Buyer or SellerBuyer. The current free-card allowance is 1 card per eligible account, after which each additional card currently costs β¦5,000.
Each Delivery Request records a locked product/price/quantity snapshot. Before precise card access is released, the delivering seller must accept the protected-delivery terms and pay the Seller Delivery Card Unlock/Linking Fee snapshotted into that request (current standard: β¦500) through the supported payment flow where a fee applies. Platform credit cannot fund this fee. Seller access to precise card information ends when the relevant request closes. Temporary courier/representative access currently expires after 168 hours unless revoked or closed earlier.
After seller acceptance, delivery must reach the In Transit stage within 72 hours. If it has not started after 48 hours, the platform may remind both parties. If it remains unstarted at 72 hours, the request may be automatically cancelled and the seller's precise-card access closed.
Ratings arising from Delivery Card transactions are reputation signals only and do not generate cash or platform-credit rewards.
13. Services, Service Cards & Service Request Cards
Service providers may operate through Market Shops, Independent Shops or Virtual Shops. Shops may offer products, services or both according to their business offering mode.
Each shop currently receives 5 free Service Spaces. Additional Service capacity is controlled by the live Commercial Control Room; one current purchase adds 1 space for β¦1,000. Existing capacity snapshots are not rewritten by later Admin changes.
An eligible Buyer or SellerBuyer currently receives 1 free Service Card. Additional Service Cards currently cost β¦5,000 each. Service Cards are customer service/contact credentials used with formal service requests; they are separate from Delivery Cards.
Formal Service Requests, Quote Requests and Appointment Requests use the Service Request Card workflow. The current customer linking fee is β¦500 and the current provider unlock/linking fee is β¦500. The applicable values are snapshotted when the relevant card/request/payment record is created, so later Control Room changes do not rewrite an existing request.
Service linking fees pay for the platformβs formal digital introduction/request-management service; they are not payment for the service providerβs work. Ordinary Web Chat or WhatsApp contact may be available for preliminary communication, but deliberate use of those channels to bypass an applicable formal Service Request Card workflow is prohibited.
