What we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Who we are

AllNaijaMarket is the trading name of AL-NAI JA MARKET, a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria. This policy covers visitors, buyers, sellers, Promoters and other users of the platform.

2. Information we collect

Depending on your use, we may collect name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, profile image, account details, shop/business information, products/services, market and location information, communications, preferences, IP address, device/browser information, first-party visitor or device-recognition identifiers, activity/security logs, referral or attribution records, and payment references or statuses supplied by payment providers.

Where you join the Promoter Programme, we may also collect your legal name, registered email, bank name, bank code, account number, resolved account name, Promoter code, direct-referrer relationship, earnings, payout records, Paystack transfer-recipient information, transfer references/statuses, fraud/risk records, account actions and programme-policy acceptance records.

Public shop information may include shop type, market or service location, products/services, ratings and verification status. Promoter banking information and fraud/security records are not public marketplace information.

3. Google Sign in

If you choose Continue with Google, Google Identity Services supplies a signed identity credential. After server-side verification, we may receive your Google account identifier (sub), name, email, email-verification status and basic profile information for authentication.

We use this to register, identify, link or sign you in to the appropriate buyer or seller account. We do not receive your Google password. A Google buyer does not need a phone number or local password solely to complete registration. A new Google seller is not created in the seller/shop database until the required seller and first-shop details are completed and the applicable policies are accepted.

AllNaijaMarket Google sign-in does not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, Calendar, Contacts or unrelated Google services.

4. How we use data

5. Payments, credits and Promoter payouts

Supported payments and Promoter bank transfers may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Paystack. AllNaijaMarket does not store card numbers, PINs, CVVs or online-banking credentials. We may retain transaction references, transfer-recipient codes, transfer codes, amounts, statuses, refunds, reversals, payout-period records and related reconciliation information.

Seller promotional/referral credits recorded inside the platform are internal platform benefits and are not bank deposits or cash. Approved Promoter Programme earnings are separate: where they satisfy the applicable programme rules, they may become eligible for payout to the locked bank account registered by the Promoter. Pending, rejected or cancelled Promoter earnings are not payable.

6. Sharing and providers

We do not sell personal data. We may share what is reasonably necessary with providers supporting payments and bank-account resolution, bank transfers, email, hosting, security, analytics, maps/location, advertising or other platform operations, or where law/safety requires it. For Promoter payouts, this may include sending the payment provider the Promoter's account name, account number, bank code, payout amount and identifiers needed to create or use a transfer recipient and process/reconcile the transfer.

Public marketplace information is visible by design and shared shop/product/feed content may carry relevant public listing details.

7. Location data

Location helps users discover nearby markets, market shops, independent shops, virtual shops, products and services. Location may be entered by a user or obtained from a device after permission. Sellers may be required to provide shop location for applicable shop or verification functions.

7A. Delivery Card & protected delivery data

If you use the ANM Delivery Card System, we may process a card owner’s name, profile image, physical delivery address, precise latitude/longitude, digital declaration/consent record, policy-version record, transaction snapshots, seller access logs, delivery status events, courier references, payment references and protected proof-of-delivery media.

Precise Delivery Card information is not public marketplace content. It is made available to the card owner, to an authorised seller only for the relevant active protected delivery after required access conditions are satisfied, and to authorised staff where reasonably necessary for support, safety, dispute handling, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Delivery proof includes two required goods-focused photographs. A third identifying photograph may be provided, and a short goods-only video may be provided where useful. Users should avoid recording unrelated people, children, private home interiors or identity documents unless genuinely necessary and lawful.

Protected delivery evidence is stored separately from ordinary public marketplace media and access may be logged. We retain Delivery Card and delivery evidence records only as reasonably necessary for the service, disputes, payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal obligations and enforcement. We may preserve relevant records and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.

7B. Service Card, Service Request & professional-credential data

If you use Services, we may process Service Card contact/location information, selected service details, request type, customer notes, preferred or confirmed appointment information, quotation details, service coverage, request status/history, policy acknowledgements, linking-fee references and related support records.

For professional or delicate services, we may also process CAC/business documents, professional licences, qualification/certification documents, identity evidence, business-address evidence, document numbers, issuing bodies, issue/expiry dates and staff review records. These records are used for verification, safety, fraud prevention, support, enforcement and legal compliance and are not automatically public in full.

Service Request Card data is disclosed only as reasonably necessary to the participating customer/provider, authorised staff and relevant service providers. Formal request history may be retained where reasonably necessary for support, payment reconciliation, disputes, fraud prevention, legal obligations and enforcement.

7C. Promoter Programme data, attribution and fraud prevention

If you open AllNaijaMarket through a Promoter link, we may create or read first-party browser identifiers and record server-side attribution information so that a genuine first visitor is not counted repeatedly or credited to multiple Promoters. These identifiers are browser/device-recognition tokens used for programme attribution and security; they are not IMEI numbers and do not give AllNaijaMarket access to unrelated files or applications on your device.

We may associate a recognised visitor with the first valid Promoter attribution, together with hashed or otherwise security-processed IP address and browser/user-agent information, visit time, referral source, repeat-attribution attempts, risk signals and validation status. We may use combinations of signals to detect automated, malicious, fabricated, duplicate or otherwise inauthentic programme activity. A shared network or a single unusual event does not necessarily establish fraud.

If an attributed visitor later creates a seller account, we may link the recognised visitor attribution to that seller for the limited purpose of determining whether a genuine qualifying seller conversion has occurred. Seller registration or shop creation alone does not create a Promoter payout.

Promoter legal name and banking information are checked at registration and intentionally locked against ordinary self-service editing after account creation. A Promoter may soft-delete their account, but relevant historical attribution, fraud/security, earnings, payout and audit records may be retained where reasonably necessary to prevent duplicate accounts, resolve payments, investigate abuse, satisfy legal/accounting requirements or establish what amounts were or were not eligible for payment.

8. Cookies and similar storage

We use essential cookies/storage for sessions, authentication, security, account continuity, preferences and, where the Promoter Programme is active, genuine-visitor attribution and duplicate/fraud prevention. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are subject to applicable consent/preferences. See the Cookie Policy.

9. Retention, security and rights

We retain information as reasonably necessary for service operation, security, disputes, financial and payout records, fraud prevention, duplicate-account prevention and legal duties. Promoter soft deletion disables login and new earnings but does not automatically erase historical records that remain reasonably necessary for eligible payout, accounting, audit, security or fraud-prevention purposes.

Subject to applicable Nigerian law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or other available rights, withdraw consent where applicable, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Some records may be retained where legally or operationally necessary, including records needed to prevent repeated reward claims or complete an outstanding eligible payout.

10. International processing and children

Where providers process data outside Nigeria, we take steps intended to provide an appropriate lawful basis and safeguards. AllNaijaMarket is not intended for persons under 18 and does not knowingly create marketplace or Promoter accounts for children.

Delivery Request contact details and temporary delivery access

For each Delivery Request, the buyer or SellerBuyer supplies a contact phone number for that transaction. The number is separate from the reusable Delivery Card and is disclosed to the seller only after the Delivery Link Fee is confirmed. If the seller appoints an authorized deliverer or delivery company, the number and necessary delivery location information may also be disclosed through a temporary PIN-protected delivery session solely to complete that delivery. Temporary access is revoked or expires when the request closes.
